Hi, I placed an order for an Alienware 17 laptop and carrying case on February 7th using Bitcoin. The payment was confirmed by Coinbase (and according to Blockchain.info now has 1755 confirmations). I was slightly concerned when even on the estimated delivery date the order was still shown as “Processing” on the Dell Website and so I contacted Dell Support via online chat. I was initially told that the purchase and order numbers in question couldn’t be located and was eventually told that order payment was not confirmed and that I needed to cntact the credit card department. After over 10 hours alternately on hold and bouncing from Dell department to Dell department to Dell department to Dell department, I’ve still not gotten any real answers. (One representative suggested that I contact Bitcoin to reverse the payment.) The consensus opinion I’ve gotten from Dell is that the order is indefinitely on hold and that there’s nothing more that they can say. Can someone please provide some help here? Thanks!
