Problems shifting up into 3rd, 4th and 5th gears

Hi,



I'm having problems shifting up into 3rd, 4th and 5th gears and it's getting progressively worse.



I'll pull the clutch in and sometimes have to hit the shifter 2 or 3 times before it actually upshifts into gear.



On occasion it will shift okay.



No problems at all down shifting.



Do you guys know the cause of this?
